Settlement Reached In Deadly Louisa County Bus Crash

The family of a Louisa teenager killed in a bus crash has reached a settlement in their $10 million lawsuit against Louisa County school officials.

It's related to a deadly bus accident in February 2004 that claimed the life of 16-year-old Thomas Cameron.

The accident happened when bus driver Lorrie Ann Batten swerved off Route 618 and hit a tree.

Batten was convicted of reckless driving.
