Louisa County Supervisor David Morgan resigned Tuesday night. He was just re-elected but this week announced he will step down.

Morgan says he made the decision for personal reasons he did not want to disclose.

The board will appoint someone to temporarily fill Morgan’s position until a new election can be held.
