Charlottesville Man Arrested, Charged in Albemarle 7-Eleven Robbery

A Charlottesville man is under arrest after police say he robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store in Albemarle County.

Police arrested 30-year-old Albert Felton on Sunday morning. He's being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.

Police say he entered and robbed the 7-Eleven near the intersection of Route 29 and Woodbrook Drive with a gun around 7 a.m. Sunday.

Police have not said what was taken, but Felton was arrested shortly after the incident.

Felton faces charges of robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. No one was injured.
