Three armed robberies in the past month in and near Fluvanna have investigators looking to see if there is a connection between the crimes.
"We certainly will be taking a look at this armed robbery as well as that armed robbery and looking to see if there is any similarity or commonality between the two to hopefully bring these suspects to justice." says Fluvanna County Sheriff Ryant Washington.
Meanwhile, store owners are worried who might be next, including Vincent Madison, owner of Kidds Store, which was robbed on September 26.
"My concern is other small stores. I think they really need to start taking precautions now. It can happen, it did happen to us. And they need to start taking precautions now."
The robberies have happened on three consecutive Wednesday nights, and Madison says he hopes the suspects are caught soon.
"They are getting cocky with it, it's happened three times and it looks like they've gotten away with it three times."
One person has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery at Kidds Store.
The Fluvanna County Sheriff's Office has not confirmed if there is a connection between the three crimes.
They are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest for these crimes. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
