Police Investigating Shooting on Charlton Avenue

Charlottesville police are asking for the public's help in identifying the person who shot at a 20 year old in the city, sending him to the hospital.

It happened around 11:00 p.m. Friday in the 900-block of Charlton Avenue.

Police say the investigation revealed the shots were fired at the victim from the side of the road. The victim was in his car at the time.

The gunshot victim drove himself to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say they have no suspects at the time, but ask anyone who knows about the incident to give Crime Stoppers a call at 434-977-4000.
