No verdict Tuesday in the first trial of a Chesterfield man accused of killing Albemarle County police dog, Ingo.
Robert Lee Cooke faced trial on charges of possessing a firearm, as a convicted felon.
The trial was continued to April 5, 2006. Prosecutors say Cooke shot Ingo while fleeing the scene of a burglary. Cooke was also shot that day and remains paralyzed.
He faces a second trial on burglary charges, scheduled for April 5.
