Sunday, Virginia Congressman Eric Cantor told reporters in a conference call that Barack Obama is "a politician caught between a rock and a hard place."
The four-term Republican Congressman questioned Obama's stance on Iraq, saying he's having a tough time balancing the interests of his anti-war supporters with the desire to maintain military gains in the country.
Cantor has been mentioned in the national media as a potential running mate for John McCain.
Sunday, Cantor told reporters he expects the Arizona Senator to take plenty of time and consideration before naming a vice presidential candidate.
