A judge has denied bond for Louis Antonio Bryant, the man accused of running a Charlottesville drug ring.
In a written ruling, a judge says there was sufficient evidence at the first trial that Bryant was the leader of a criminal conspiracy.
He said with Bryant knowing the weight of the government's case against him, he is a flight risk.
He also stated Bryant is a risk to the community and the witnesses in this case.
Bryant's first trial ended in a mistrial and he will be tried again at Charlottesville federal court in May.
