A woman has been charged with reckless driving after crashing her car into an Albemarle county restaurant this morning.
Police say a woman ran into the Arby's at Forest Lakes shortly before 9am. She was taken to the hospital for back pain.
Some employees were inside the Arby's at the time of the accident, but no one was hurt.
"We were standing at the front counter and we heard a loud bang," explained Assistant Manager Traci Caiazzo. "And we had looked up and saw the car in the vestibule."
The driver says she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake.
Last May, a man crashed into the same Arby's after suffering a health ailment. He did not survive.
No word yet on the extent of the damage.
