Police Charge Keswick Woman with Embezzlement

Charlottesville Police arrested Joby Easton McCauley, charging her with four counts of felony embezzlement. She has been released on bond.

On Tuesday, July 1, detectives with the Charlottesville Police Department arrested Joby Easton McCauley, a resident of Keswick.

McCauley has been charged with four counts of felony embezzlement.

She was subsequently released on bond.

Officials say McCauley has been employed by a local construction company and the embezzlement has occurred over a number of years. The loss to the business is said to be substantial and the investigation is still on-going.
