A judge Wednesday morning sentenced a 16 year-old Western Albemarle High School student to juvenile detention for his role in a plot to attack two local high schools.
The Commonwealth recommended the sentence and was happy with the judges decision.
The family of the teen had no comment outside the court house.
The juvenile detention center will now decide how long the teen will be kept behind bars. They could choose to keep him committed until he is 21.
The judge will also review this case in 60 days.
