Fourth graders at Clark Elementary School got a visit from performers with the Ash Lawn Opera Festival.

They belted out a few tunes and gave the kids a quick lesson in opera.

They've holding their outreach program for the past 10 years.

The goal is to answer questions and get the kids interested in opera music.

"I like just seeing...the kids’ reactions and [seeing] how much they like it and get into it and showing that it really is accessible for anyone," said Opera Singer Don Groves.

The opera singers will perform at other local schools throughout the week.
