While some analysts credit falling gas prices to increased refinery capacity and a drop in demand, some say it's simply a case of divine intervention.

While some analysts credit falling gas prices to increased refinery capacity and a drop in demand, some say it's simply a case of divine intervention.
The Maryland-based "Pray at the Pump" movement hit Albemarle County Friday, as a group gathered at the Sam's Club on Route 29. The group's leader says with families across the country struggling to fill up their tank, there's only one place to turn.
"God is in control of everything and we just want Him to really help us because nobody else seems to care," says Rocky Twyman. "The politicians don't seem to care. Like I said, they're over in Beijing having a good time man."
He says "Pray at the Pump" will soon head west to Los Angeles to confront comedian Jay Leno. Leno recently poked fun at the group on the Tonight Show.

Thanks so much to your great reporter/anchor Matt Holmes who had the courage to meniton comedian Jay Leno who joked about our prayerful project. incident. This is no time for jokes about these high gas prices. They are the real deal. Mr. Leno owns several antique cars and has no problem filling all of them up with gas. Many people in the Los Angeles area are suffering while he enjoys luxury. Please keep praying America. God is the only one that can help us through this horrible crisis. Please make your feelings known at prayatthepump@aol.com. We plan to take a petition to the Saudi Arabian oil magnates asking them to release more barrels of oil immediately. Their Holy Koran calls for compassion on the poor. Time to practice what you preach and help America's economy. Our politicians in America are in Beijing living it up, while we the tax paying citizens of America languish in high gas prices. Pray at the Pump now. Rocky Twyman, Founder Pray at the Pump Movement
this is pathetic---as is wcav's censorship under the guise of comment moderation. looks like the media of today has picked up when the communist censorship of yesteryear left off. who would of thought that media censorship would prove more deadly to freedom than the government censorship that used to worry people.....
I think Exxon has been praying longer and harder, considering their profits over the last few quarters.
