The Charlottesville Pride Community Network is hosting an LGBTQ pride festival at Lee Park on Saturday.
The event starts at 11 AM and goes until 7 PM. There will be performances, a beer garden, moon bounce, and other activities.
Organizers say this festival is for the whole community, and that anyone can come to the free event.
"It's a fun, free, family friendly celebration of equality that about the whole community coming together and celebrating everybody's right to be who they are and pursue happiness," says Pride Festival Organizer Amy Marshall.
