The autopsy report is back in the case of a convicted killer who died in his prison cell at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.

The medical examiner reports James Long Jr. committed suicide by overdosing on drugs.

Four types of drugs were found in his system, creating a "drug cocktail"

The medical examiner found Amitriptyline, which is used to treat symptoms of depression; tramadol, which is used to treat moderate to severe pain; cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxer; and doxepin, which is used to treat depression or anxiety.

Long was initially convicted of killing William Browning and Vicki Truax in Orange County in 2006. A judge later threw out that conviction and a new trial was ordered. Long was convicted again last May and was sentenced to two life terms.

Long was in the Central Virginia Regional Jail waiting to be transferred to a state prison when his body was found in his cell last June.
