A couple hundred students and faculty attended a talk about Islam by author David Horowitz on UVA grounds.
The two-hour lecture was part of the nationwide Islamo-Fascist awareness week that Horowitz started.
He spoke at length about what he views as the threat posed by Islamic terrorists, and condemned middle eastern groups that publicize their hatred for the Jewish faith.
"Iran is one. Now Lebanon, Gaza, the Taliban are incredibly bigoted and intolerant and oppressive and fascistic, and I oppose them," said writer, activist David Horowitz.
The talk was briefly interrupted by a protester, but no one had to be removed by police.
