Saturday the National Transportation Safety Board released it's first report on the fatal plane crash on June 14th at Bundoran Farm in Albemarle County.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but the report said the plane did not strike anything before hitting the ground.

It detailed the final communications between the pilot, David Brown, and air traffic controllers.

The report also revealed that Brown had landed at the Bundoran air strip some 30 times before, but never at night or in the rain.

It was raining at the time of the crash, and both Brown and his passenger, Robert Baldwin, were killed in the accident.

Brown and Baldwin were executives with Qroe Companies, a land development company based in New Hampshire, that recently purchased Bundoran Farm.
