Delegate David Toscano says he wants the community to know what's good and bad about the state budget. The Democrat met with community leaders to go over the budget's highlights. Some of the good includes more funding for teachers, the Chesapeake Bay and higher education. He says what's bad about the budget is that there still isn't a transportation plan.

"It's really important for me that I not be isolated and insulated in Richmond, so I can hear from my constituents about things that think I should be doing, perspectives that they have on the budget--things we need to look at--for the future," said Delegate David Toscano.

Toscano plans to continue he community meetings into the fall.
