The man arrested last month for cyber-stalking a UVA student will go straight to trial. Richard Reid waived his preliminary hearing Thursday.

Charlottesville police arrested the 25-year-old for trespassing with use of a computer, stalking, and making death threats.

Police searched Reid's home in Hampton, Virginia and took away several computer-related items, as well as notes to the victim and an AK-47 rifle.

His trial date will be set on August 21.
