Orange County Fires Superintendent William Crawford

The Orange County School Board will begin its search for a new superintendent earlier than expected.

At a closed door meeting Wednesday night the Board voted four to none to fire Dr. William Crawford

Crawford has served as Orange Superintendent since 2005 and was expected to retire next summer.

Sources tell CBS19 the premature parting was mutual.
