One homeowner in Charlottesville is cleaning up after the weather made a mess of their front yard.
It happened on the 600 block of Elliott Avenue. A huge tree came down, pulling down power lines. Limbs blocked the front door and covered a car.
Emily Sohr, the homeowner, says all of this happened in a matter of minutes, "It started to pour, so I started running to get inside because I didn't want to get soaked. And about two seconds after I got inside, I heard the crash and I turned around and all our front windows all you could see were the leaves. I knew right away that the tree fell on our house."
Just over a year ago the other half of the tree fell on the neighbors house, so cleanup is something the neighborhood is somewhat used to.
