The U.S. Senate candidate said to be "born fighting," paid a visit to a Charlottesville home.

In an effort to get out and see more people, Jim Webb invited a half-dozen residents to have a sit-down discussion.

A Charlottesville homeowner agreed to let her house become part of Webb's Kitchen Table Tour. The participants said they liked the idea.

"[Webb] can talk freely, listen freely to what the issues are [and] the problems that exist in the minds of the assembled group," said Glenn Short.

Webb has seven more stops to go on the Kitchen Table Tour.
