It seems travelers are getting the message after their plans got off to a rough start on Thursday.
Officials at the Charlottesville Albemarle Regional Airport say passengers have been patient when going through the security checks.
Several of them were caught by surprise when told to dispose of all liquids and gels because of a raised threat level.
The Charlottesville Albemarle Regional Airport is much smaller airport than most others, so its size has helped keep things running smoothly.
Random security checks will continue.
