Sunrise Park will soon be getting a makeover, and the residents are leading the way.

Residents of the trailer community met for the first time to give their input on how it should look.

As of right now, seven families live in the development. After the expansion, directors of Habitat for Humanity say they are hoping that will increase ten-fold.

"Some of the things we've heard is there needs to be a community garden, there needs to be a tot lot for kids who are too small to walk to Reeves Park, it needs to be sustainable, [and] it needs to have gathering spaces," Overton McGehee said.

Habitat says they hope to break ground as early as 2008.
