Trial Date Set in Church Burning Case

The deaf homeless man accused of starting a fire at the Charlottesville Church of Christ has been formally indicted by a grand jury.

The charges against 24-year-old Jason Santos were breaking and entering, petty larceny, and arson.

Charges of breaking and entering and intent to commit a felony were both dismissed.

The trial date is set for January 10th, 2006.
