After delays for many fans trying to enter last week's game against Wyoming, UVa officials say they are going to tweak some of the entry procedures into Scott Stadium. Officials say many times fans wait until the very last minute to enter, causing a log jam. That jam was felt most along the East end of the stadium and while delays are common, these were much longer than normal.

"We had some [delays] that were a little bit longer than what we had experienced in the past. We are making some changes at a few of the gates and adding some staff and scanners to hopefully alleviate some of the problem," said Associate Athletic Director of External Affairs, Dirk Katstra.

Officials also urge fans to go into the stadium about 15 minutes earlier. They say the main goal is to have the stadium packed and loud when the team takes the field.
