Albemarle County residents have a new way to voice their opinions on development.

The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors recently appointed a development review task force.

The task force will review and assess the handling of rezoning and special use permit applications. They will also recommend improvements based on feedback from the community.

"We really are hoping for some good ideas, some fresh thoughts, and new perspectives that really will give us some thoughts on how we can better the process for both the citizens and for the development communities themselves," said Albemarle County Spokesperson Lee Catlin.

Responses to the surveys used as feedback, which will be taken online and in person, are confidential.
