Parents of teenage drivers have reason to be relieved. A new report released Friday by AAA says deadly teen car crashes are on the decline.
According to the report, the majority of people killed in crashes involving teen drivers continue to be passengers, pedestrians, cyclists or other road users rather than the teen driving behind the wheel.
AAA still encourages parents to talk to their kids about the dangers on the road, send them to a driving school and use a parent-teen driving agreement.
