The University of Virginia now has a way to prevent alcohol abuse among students.
The National Social Norms Institute will conduct research and provide alcohol education programs.
The goal is to help college students nationwide stay safe.
"Anheuser-Busch and our more than 600 wholesalers across the country have also been proactive in addressing alcohol abuse. Since the early 1980s we have invested more than half a billion dollars in advertising and community based programs to promote positive and healthy decision making and to address these complex issues, " said Francine Katz, VP of Communication with Anheuser-Busch.
Anheuser-Busch gave UVa $2.5 million dollars to fund the institute.
