The man accused of raping a University of Virginia student in 2005 was in court on Tuesday.
John Henry Agee pleaded guilty to the accusation in Charlottesville's Circuit Court.
The Commonwealth said Agee raped a UVa student in September 2005 after he followed her down Sunset Avenue, and pulled her into the woods. In exchange for the plea agreement, the Commonwealth of Virginia will drop the charges of forcible sodomy, and abduction with intent to defile.
Agee is back behind bars as he waits for his sentencing hearing in January 2007. During that hearing, the judge will say if he will accept Agee's guilty plea. Agee faces two life terms in prison.
The victim misidentified the suspect originally before picking Agee.
