Stabbing Sends One Man to Hospital

Charlottesville Police responded to a stabbing at 240 Hartman's Mill Road, just off Ridge Street in Charlottesville.

Police say the stabbing happened around 10:45 P.M. Friday night.

Police are looking for 48-year-old Marc Gardner Carson.

They say the victim was walking home when at some point he was involved in an argument with Carson.

They also believe that the two men knew each other.

The victim was stabbed in the chest and was transported to UVA Medical Center where he is recovering from his injuries.

Police have not yet released the name of the victim, but do say that his injuries are not life threatening.
