4th of July Parade on Earlysville Road

July 4, 2013

Hundreds of people lined Earlysville Road to celebrate Independence Day with a parade.

The annual parade had go-carts, horses and buggies, as well as Cub Scouts from Pack 75..

One of the more noticeable parts of the parade were the swarms of kids along the side of the road gathering sweet treats.

"We want to celebrate the independence of our country and pass along to our kids, obviously," says Richard Hull. "I thought it was great. It was a great parade. Kids loved it."

The parade is sponsored by the Earlysville Area Residents League.
