An Albemarle County man was arrested Tuesday night during a Jefferson Area Drug Enforcement (JADE) drug bust.
Officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 4000 block of Fair Hill Lane in the west side of Albemarle County around 9:30pm Tuesday. Narcotic Detectives seized more than 500 grams of cocaine and $1,560 in cash.
The street value of the cocaine is estimated at $50,000.
The suspect, 56-year-old Roderick Lee Johnson, was arrested for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges and arrests are pending.
