Aspiring art students have a new way to get their work noticed. Collector Charles Saatchi launched a new website that students can use in order to get exposure to their work.
The site is called STUART, which stands for student art. Saatchi, a well known collector, has already attracted more than 2,000 students to the site.
More and more collectors are saying that they have less time to travel to galleries and that the internet is the answer.
If you visit the website you can search the artists a variety of ways, either by name, college, or city.
After talking to local dealers they say that they think that the site is great for students trying to get exposure but that they are not packing up shop just yet. There are still some pieces that you have to see in person.
