Warm temperatures across Charlottesville on Saturday encouraged many to enjoy the outdoors.
Maria Williams decided to clean out her house and hold a yard sale.
"Because it was a pretty day, it was a gorgeous day. It's felt like spring," said Williams.
One Ruckersville father brought his children to play at Tonsler Park for the day.
The family recently moved from Texas and he says Saturday's weather reminded him of home.
"We were really expecting snow and cold. Hopefully we'll see some, the kids were disappointed that they haven't seen snow, this is just like back in Texas," said Dane Gressett.
The warm weather also drew crowds to the downtown mall, where short-sleeves and flip flops were popular among shoppers.
