Va Democrats Use Internet To Draw Attention

January 27, 2007

Virginia Democrats are outnumbered in the General Assembly and now they're turning to the internet to try and publicize certain issues.

It's been reported that a Democratic operative has been going through the halls of the State Capitol with a video camera to record developments the party wants publicized.

Video of committee proceedings were posted on a Democratic party website. The video contains unsuccessful initiatives to boost Virginia's minimum wage to seven dollars and 25 cents an hour.

House Majority Leader H-Morgan Griffith says the GOP might hire its own camera person to counter their efforts.
