Nelson County deputies have arrested the owner of two pit bulls who attacked a woman in December.
They charged 41 year-old Eric Johnson with two felonies and ten misdemeanors including failing to control a dog resulting in injury to a human and cruelty to animals.
A Charlottesville woman suffered bite wounds to her arm, legs, back and face.
Police say the dogs and a litter of puppies were taken from Johnson.
