Charlottesville Police and Fire are looking for a car that ran into the side of a restaurant and left the scene.
Crews got the call just after 11:30 p.m. It appears a car hit the "Just Curry" Restaurant on University Avenue and sped off. The car hit the side of the building hard enough that the alarm sounded alerting restaurant workers and employees to the situation.
When crews arrived on the scene, they secured the building. The building inspector arrived a short time later and began determining the extent of the damage.
At this point, fire officials say they are unsure who hit the building. A parking lot attendant says he did not notice any cars leaving the lot with damage to the rear.
