Two volunteers left Saturday morning headed to the tornado hit areas to provide disaster relief. We caught up with the director of the local chapter, who said this is an unusual response, because the Super Bowl is playing a big part.

“You have this huge event that everyone was kind of geared towards, then the storm has created a much more president event because it's reality and it's right now,” said Director Rick Alatorre.

They are unsure what role they will play once they arrive, but if needed there are six more volunteers on stand-by to leave for Florida.
