Authorities released a taped conversation between a prostitute and an undercover police officer.
“What happened was he called me on my cell phone he promised me Omni Hotel and it was very enticing so I accepted,” said a woman arrested for prostitution.
We share with you parts of the conversation that led to this woman's arrest.
POLICE: So how many customers today?
PROSTITUTE: Just that one. Just the one for the **** ***and that was it.
POLICE: How much did you charge him?
PROSTITUTE: $30
POLICE: $30? You're not ripping me off are you?
PROSTITUTE: No, I'm not ripping you off.
POLICE: You going to charge me $30 too.
PROSTITUTE: For a **** ***?
POLICE: Yah.
PROSTITUTE: I might charge you $20.
The woman offers to perform a sexual act for money. Police said that is grounds for an arrest, but she takes the conversation further.
POLICE: What about the whole sex thing, straight up?
PROSTITUTE: At least 40.
POLICE: At least 40?
PROSTITUTE: I would like to have $50 but if you can do 40 that would be okay.
POLICE: I think we can swing $50
PROSTITUTE: That would be great.
PROSTITUTE: Just call me when you are sitting out front. I just have to change my clothes because I hate being sweaty so, I’ll be nice smelling and stuff for you.

“Little did I know he was an undercover cop and I got arrested for prostitution,” said the woman.
A judge found her guilty and sentenced her to probation and a mandatory HIV test. She is just one of many women arrested recently in Charlottesville for prostitution.
