UVa Med Students Learn Their Futures

March 15, 2007

At noon Thursday over one hundred UVa fourth year medical students opened a letter that held their destinies. The class of 2007 learned where they will be doing their residencies.

"Its the culmination of a lot of sweat blood and tears and it starts from when you are an undergrad or even in high school. When you think about going to medical school and it continues on to medical school and to be honest the roads not finished, the hardest part I think is still yet to come" said Matthew Ng, medical student.

Match Day is a tradition held by medical schools across the country.
