One week after a man was gunned down in Buckingham County, investigators believe they know who committed the crime. However, the three suspects remain on the loose.

Authorities have issued murder warrants for three men, and police across the state have been alerted to be on the look out for them.

The three men authorities are looking for are:

  • 19-year-old Theodore Calvin Timberlake
  • 18-year-old Ryan Martez Turner
  • 26-year-old Claude Lorenzo Booker

Authorities say Booker is no stranger to the law. He has a long criminal record.

All three men are wanted on various charges, including murder.

Witnesses to the crime told authorities they saw a car pull over on Route 20 in Buckingham County and three men got out. They said they saw the men shoot victim Clarence Austin multiple times inside the car. Austin's body was later found on Ranson Road.

Investigators have been searching for the trio since and now are releasing their photos. The car believed to have been used in the shooting was later recovered in Albemarle County. Authorities now believe these men are traveling in a gold Ford Expedition.

The three suspects were last believed to be in the area of Apple Grove Lane in Louisa County on Thursday night.

Authorities warn if you have any contact with these individuals to use extreme caution. They are armed and believed to be very dangerous.

Local authorities confirmed all the details in this report. Numerous calls to the Buckingham County Sheriff’s Department went unreturned Friday.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Buckingham County Sheriff's Office at 434-969-1772 or 911 immediately.
