Fire On Old Brook Road

March 20, 2007

Firefighters responded to a two alarm blaze on Old Brook Road this afternoon.

They arrived to see fire coming out of the window. At this time officials say that there may have been one person in the house at the time of the fire, but no one appears to have any injuries.

Firefighters credit quick response for keeping the fire under control.

"It just shows the importance of quick response and getting there in a timely manner to prevent it from getting much worse" said Danny Tawney, Seminole Trail Battalion Chief.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire and are concentrating on the second floor.
