Camblos Seeking Re-election

March 21, 2007

Albemarle County Commonwealth's attorney Jim Camblos has announced that he will seek re-election for a 5th term.

Camblos made the announcement Wednesday morning at Court Square. He says that he is committed to improving the quality of life and will focus on current problems facing Albemarle County.

Some of those being underage drinking and elderly abuse.

"Continue with the programs we've had, continue with the strong aggressive prosecution that we have, continue serving the people, going into the schools on underage drinking," said Camblos.

He has served as Commonwealth's Attorney for the past fifteen years and so far he has only one opponent, Denise Lunsford.
