A car runs through the front window of the Parkway Pharmacy in Crozet causing significant damage to the building.

It happened just after noon at the Parkway Pharmacy in downtown Crozet. An elderly female driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending her red Volkswagen through the storefront. No one was injured but one employee says it made one loud noise.

"We heard this loud pop that kind of sounded like an earthquake. Someone had driven through the front of the building. So we came up front and saw that the bricks were coming in the building. The fire department came and evacuated us," said Rae Carol Plantz who was working inside at the time of the crash.

According to the owner, this is the second time someone hit this storefront in the past month. The Fire Department sured up the building with steel poles but authorities say it will take some work before the pharmacy can be opened again.
