Charlottesville 10-Miler Closing Roads

The Charlottesville 10-Miler, being held on Saturday, March 31st, will cause some roads to close or have limited access.

The race, which will benefit Piedmont CASA, goes through the University and surrounding neighborhoods and downtown. Starting at 7:40 a.m. on Saturday, the following roads will be closed or have limited access.

Massie Road at University Hall
Copeley Road
Alderman Road
Stadium Road
McCormick Road
Rugby Road
Grady Avenue
Preston Avenue
7th Street
East Jefferson Street
2nd Street NE
Northwood Avenue
Evergreen Avenue
Lexington Avenue
Maple Street
Water Street
Main Street
University Avenue

Traffic on cross streets will stopped until runners have passed or until there is a sufficient gap between runners. If you need to get across town, you are asked to find alternate routes.
