Monday, Nov. 16th
Two accidents on I-64 in the Ivy area caused traffic on eastbound I-64 to back up for miles.
The accidents happened before 8 a.m. but an hour later, cars and trucks were still crawling along in a delay that stretched much of the way back to the Crozet area.
Getting off the interstate offered no relief. Traffic was also backed up on 250/Ivy Road eastbound because of the volume of cars.
The accidents did not appear to result in serious injuries but one lane of the interstate was shut down and that's what caused the delays.

Charlie, if you think these geniuses around here care about traffic, particularly commuters, you're kidding yourself. They care more about picking a stupid CLOCK.

If the lights at Farmington and Boar's head had 5 more seconds of green east and west bound, then traffic would not snarl so much. Seems like only in the past two years has this been so much of a problem
