Honored For Work In The Community

April 24, 2007

Children, Youth and Family Services had their annual breakfast Tuesday to honor those who work with kids and families in the community.

Each year, the organization honors an individual and an employer for their community work. This year, Juandiego Wade and State Farm Insurance were honored at the breakfast.

The director said that everyone was doing their fair share of community work.

"Children, Youth and Family Services is all about kids, and these awards really represent our commitment to the kids of our community and our investment in their well being, and we are so pleased to be able to provide these awards to the community," said Jacki Bryant, CYFS Executive Director.

The individual award is given to someone who has proven their commitment to children over time, and the employer award goes to the business that is most family friendly.
