UVa Student Charged with Hoax Bomb in Court

Bond was set for the University of Virginia student charged with creating a hoax explosive device.

Sanders Eugene DeNardi is accused of using dry ice to explode a water bottle. The first-year engineering student was arrested in his dorm on Monday.

A judge set bond at $10,000. His next hearing is set for June 7, 2007.
