The first annual PVCC community yard sale was held Saturday. The college invited the public to sell household goods, toys, furniture and antiques. It’s a way to get a jump start on the spring cleaning and help out a good cause.

“As the support staff at PVCC, we are always looking for ways to help people especially when it comes to scholarships for education. We also help out families around thanksgiving and Christmas time. We usually sponsor families and bring them food and gifts and things,” said Erica Spangler, PVCC recruitment officer.
